My favourite comment for painting 1 was 'Neo-conservative rebellion'.
You can't see it cos I haven't painted it in yet, but the last one says 'the lure of sudden evil'.
After everyone'd filled in the questionnaire, we had a nice discussion.

Was it a useful experience?
Yes, it was. Not only did I get some good responses to the questionnaire, but I got accused of being an 'arch-manipulator' and of trying to subvert the crit: 'to critique the critiquers'.
It was a useful exercise all round, even the gruelling two and a half hour seesion on Wednesday. We had a different tutor then, and they ripped into one person's work, calling it an 'infantile, puerile ... insult to performance'.
I felt a bit cheated I hadn't had him for mine.
