Fit and working again (sort of)

I think the pills are beginning to kick in. Not that long ago the train palaver would've caused a 12-hour continuous panic attack, but it didn't (I think simply travelling again and not being in any hurry to get anywhere helped). I'm able to read more than just kids' books (not that I can remember anything of it afterwards) and even do some small drawings. I've stuck a couple of strips of paper together and folded them somewhat idiosyncratically to make a screenfold book that I'm beginning to fill in:

'Sort of' is a step in the right direction, David -- good stuff :-)

I like what you say about being on the go yet not in any hurry to get to a specific place/destination. I will keep that in mind, I think. Such way of thinking would probably do me good.

I feel beside myself these days -- in such hurry and so busy with nothing but worrying and I'm not sure where I am going or anything...
maybe I am trying to hard.

Cheers for the inspiration :-)

Nice work David. (As always) I agree with Lilly, not hurrying is a good thing. Living in the now is an important factor. Your trian trip still amazes me.

I've been living in a kind of eternal now for a while now - can't remember the immediate past, can't make definite plans for the near future unless I leave notes for myself. It's got better and I can now remember about a day in reasonable detail and a couple of days patchily.

But, as a general rule (and as PG says), being fully present in the moment is very important. Hmm, sounds a bit new age hippyish, but is true nonetheless.

Oh yeah, like the new pics (not that I can really remember the old ones, ha ha) - you turn your back for a second...

David --- wow! It sounds almost like the main character in the film Memento......must be extremely weird and scary too at times.

Alan's always referred to me as a wee bit of a hippie -- and I did use to be good at living in the present when I was younger. What happened I wonder? It was something I remember appreciating at the time; you know actually appreciating the fact that I was able to live in the present because so many of my friends were not. I need to work on that one. Deffo.
